I have 2gb of DDRII 1066. Obviously, i want another 2 gb (atleast) the question is should i spend double the money for another 2gb of DDRII 1066 or save money and get DDRII 800. my only concern is that i would like to be able to overclock easily without worrying about ram holding me back.

if i do get DDR2 800 i could get 4gb for the same or similar price as ddr2 1066.

when ocing never mix match ram unless you know both sets oc to the same level. to ensure you can oc to just about the same level go with the ddr2-1066 ram.

Well if you are not running your quad above 3.6 ghz, then stay with the DDR2 800 ram. Because it runs at 400mhz ( it can be overclocked if needed) no point in spending extra for the 1066..
