hmm seagate has a 1tb drive

don't want to sound n00bish but seagates got a 1TB drive out, 7200.11. anything new with the new 7200.11? is this that new firmware i am hearing about?

100MB/s STR and up. I believe we are still waiting for some reports from the field. There is a huge thread on this, too...

I'm in for 4x 500GB's or 3x 750GB 7200.11's (RAID-5) as soon as Newegg gets them in

MMMM delicious :9 a Little spendy though. Seagate drives that i've seen have either been made in China or Thailand.
