port problems

It seems my router simply will not allow any incoming connections on any port, even 21 or 80 (according to a web-based check). A message from azureus:

Testing port 11009 ...
NAT Error - Connect attempt to 202.168.***.**:11009 (your computer) timed out after 20 seconds. This means your port is probably closed
Proxy IP is '202.168.***.**', original is '202.168.***.** ('Forwarded-For' request header was '202.168.***.**').

As you're about to see, the virtual servers section asks for an IP address, but I have NO idea what one it wants!

You need to use your external IP address (www.whatismyip.com) in the software, then you need to configure your router to forward the given port to your internal IP address (ie 192.168.X.X).

If you dont configure port forwarding, once the incoming request hits your router the router wont know which PC to send the request to.

Ok, 1 program wants to know the host ip and port, the other one wants the local ip and ip to bind to.
