How can I overclock my 8400M graphics card? (Dell Vostro 1500 notebook)

Have you tried Rivatuner? Maybe ATI Tool?

you can use rivatuner and ntune with the stock dell drivers. but if you use the 16x series drivers you cannot overclock via software. you must do it via modifying the bios of the gpu.
