Whenever i open a folder and play a video file, the whole explorer.exe crashes and restarts. This only happens when i open a video file.

Either uninstall whatever codec you recently installed, or install the proper codec for the file.

The videos still play, i haven't changed the codecs since first installation, but i will try reinstalling new updated codecs.

I am running windows XP sp2. It seems i had some kind of xvid codec installed along with my Klite codec pack. After uninstalling the xvid codec, the problem immediately disappeared. Thanks guys.
