So I am getting contant lock ups during my gaming. Can I check event viewer to see what happened or is there a better tool in Vista? This is a clean install so I am starting to think its either a memory or power supply problem. Is the memory diagnostics tool that comes installed with Vista any good?

What game are you trying to play, and what drivers are you using?

Some games even now still dont play well or dont play at all on Vista.

-- to answer your question, the event viewer might be of some help. Im a memtest fan myself...

Does it only lockup playing games? You might want to make a quick check of that Antec SP from these threads:

Im gonna have to run some tests for a few days like playing different games, clean installing drivers etc. If the problem still persists I will focus on hardware like start changing memory around and then possibly try a new psu.

I received the error playing Company of Heroes: OF but I just read about some new beta Nvidia drivers that are supposed to improve stability so this might be an insolated problem...
