I am trying to install vista ultimate on a biostar tforce 560 system, but it is not going so well. It appears to be okay before "expanding files" stage. Once it hit expanding files, it will stay at 0% for a long time, and then move 1% at a time. It will take 5 to 7 hours to reach 100%. Then it will have an error during the reboot. The installation went through once but had a blue screen during the last reboot. If i take the cd out during the "expanding files" and reboot, the system will loose the cdrom. I had to shutdown and then restart for the system to find cdrom again.

now I am trying to install xp first and then install vista with the lastest updates. Any advise is appreciated!
