HDD question

I am going to stripe two barracuda ES hdds , theres jumpers on them to change from 150-300
If i were to set them to 300mb/s would they run 300 with my mobo ?

As long as your mobo supports SATA II you can set the jumper to 300.

If your mobo only has SATA I you will have to leave it on 150.

Look up the spec's of your specific model on the asus site.

You realize that you will only be increasing the theoretical limit to 300, right? Actual performance is very different.

With two drives, I doubt 150 or 300 will make a difference.
