so i have a mini dv camcorder a canon zr40 to be specific, when i use my digi cam to shoot videos it comes out as different avi files, but if i were to use my camera and connect it using firewire and opening it in vegas or such. how would it come out as one long video? and i would need to cut it into different sections?
also arent camcorder tripods and digital camera tripods the same thing? except camcorders have an extra small hole? but would it really matter if i bought a digi cam tripod and used it with my camcorder? thanks for the help!
