A friend of mine lost his power supply for his Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 250GB hard drive and asked me if I could help. I have been doing a bit of research but the only place we could get a replacement power supply was direct from Western Digital and it's US only. Could some one tell me the output voltage of the My Book power supply and the current rating so that we could try and get a generic power supply that will provide the correct volts and amps.
