Oh!

I thought that was another satellite missile being launched, instead of Flexy's daily points output graph.

V-E-R-Y Impressive!!

Wonder what the new rigs are?

He posted something about it not long ago. Whole bunch of additional rigs. Like 20, if memory serves.

yeah! He just blew the doors off me to take #28! And even when winter comes and the two main quads come back online to heat the house, there's still no hope! Some very nice PPD... A lot of folks in the top 25 need to keep an eye on the rearview!

Ya I noticed I finally pushed to #2...those 1000 will be slow to come by at the moment since I'll have to talk with an admin buddy on getting it pushed faster than my hands on approach. Added another 14 tonight and they're all P4 3Ghz Socket478.

Trying to add when I can and hopefully have it pushed out en masse. The Ultimate Network Install on Wedo's page would have been fantastic in getting it going but I'm thinking the machines need File and Print Sharing on and we don't have that so looks like I'll be doing it msi style. If anything, points should keep going up for the next few weeks and then possibly drop off a little and then back on again. ChasR got me motivated to grab number one again

Also to justify that 1000 computer addition number, we have 22000 machines with (rough estimate) 5k or so being P4 3Ghz and phasing in new duals. In addition, we're upgrading a lot of the old rigs (PIII's) to the new duals so I'll be getting a 2 for 1 deal.

What kind of facility has that many machines that are idle enough to let you fold on them? Massive call center of doom or something?

I have an image of a friend of mine with 28 processors at his desk doing fluid dynamics calculations for turbine compressor blades.

1000 machines
How about a minimum target of 100,000 PPD
You would be #1 single top producer...
