I want to run 2 8800gt cards 's and a Q6600

will my 520hx be ok???

is their a graph of the power consumption??

I know the 520hx is more like a 600w power supply.

What do you guys think??

Yeah I'd say go with at least 700w. That's what most people seem to have. That quad draws a lot of power if you want to overclock and dual GPUs will always require a powerful PSU.

guess im not doing SLI

already got my 520hx. SLI is expensive anyways.

THANKS EVERYONE

Ellizion,

You may want to consider an alternative to SLI with your Corsair 520HX:

Less power required, cooler and it's right up there with the 8800GT for about $100 less. (ATI 3850, ATI 3870 about $60 less)

Yeah i think that I will be ok.

The only thing is that their aren't any good boards for SLI and 45nm Quads... So i might have to skipout on the SLI for now or get an x38 and do crossfire with the new ATI's. But Nvidia is kicking ATI's *** right now.

yeah maybe i'm better off just getting 1 card and overclocking it.

Thanks for all the comments.

and their aren't any solid boards for SLI anyways.

I'll just get a solid P35 Board
