Bought a UPS

Finally got one for peace of mind incase of a surge or brownout, with my discount it was $32 so it was a good deal. When i first plugged it in and powered on my rig i accidentally hit the little power button on it and then it started beeping at me and whatnot, lol. Apparently i had to take all the surge plugs out and start it back up. Hope i didnt mess up the battery already, lol.

OK, this is quite comical.

I have the exact same UPS you do and the first thing I did was hit that stupid little button. I was using my computer and I hear "BEEP" and everything shuts down. First thoughts were "OMG, UPS DOWN!!!". No lights on it...I was confused. Saw the "power" light was out...did a >.> and pressed the button.

I also got it really cheap, got it at BB, clearance + gift card = $6 UPS

Just so you know, you will have around 5 minutes battery life if you do lose power
