I would very much like to have a case like this. Is there one in the under $50 price range?

Cut two 120mm mounts in the front where those 80mm's are, get an HDD cage (Stacker/TT iCage) with a decent 120mm fan for top-front intake, and cut a 120mm or maybe an additional 90mm exhaust at the top-rear. Maybe some side fans too... would love to see it with the side panel(s) installed. That is a gigantic case btw... maybe add some wheels to it?

Wow that look a lot like my case before it got modded. I put two 120mm fans in the front, but airflow out the back was tricky on mine, your case's back looks easier to deal with.

Funny,

I have one exactly like that sitting in my garage right now! It was suppose to be for a water cooling project, but has since been abandoned. With the way my desk is oriented now, I would not have space for that case in my room.

I was also thinking about using it as sort of a "navig" cooling tower, where the mobo would have its own cooling chamber. Maybe another day...

Supermicro SC760. Just got one off of ebay a couple weeks ago to replace my AOpen full tower case. So far I've cut the back 120mm fan grill out, and plan to cut a blowhole (maybe two) for a 120mm fan up front. This case has a lot of modding potential, that's for sure.

Slick paint job on yours Nebuchadnazzar.

I've got one of those sitting around that was meant for a watercooling project that i never got around too...

Anyway, what i was planning to do was seal off the top and bottom sections of the case and turn the top into a 3 - heatercore cooling box.

Have fun with it!

WOW, 1.25'' taller than my full tower! GRATS!!!!
Full towers definetly make it a lot easier to have VERY effective air cooling of your PC.

I think if I do a full tower again... I'm going to flip the case upside down... have a WC setup in the bottom and have the PC in the top part... Make shift BTX FTW

lol good feedback here. I'm not going to mod it a lot but you'll see somecustom ducting, heater core cutout... maybe paint job on case but not on pannels. Going to be a fun project if you modded a case this big feel free to post pics here as i'll keep mine on procooling (main thread)

Here are some shots of my Aopen Full Tower Case with water cooling hooked up.

http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php...47&postcount=1

Cut out the back 80mm fan grills, and added a 120mm fan to the front. Cut a blowhole out in the plastic bezel to allow better airflow through the 120mm fan. Also cut a small hole in the motherboard tray for cable routing purposes. I had intended to do away with the ATX case my watercooling parts were in, because I wasn't happy with the way it came out. I've decided to do a slight redesign of it though using Polycarbonate Lexan.

I like what you have done to the front. I might try that with two fans on mine, thanks for the idea.

I used a dremel to do that, which cuts through the plastic like butter. I then sanded away the melted plastic away that accumulates on the edges. I used computer window molding around the edge of the blowhole. I was pretty nervous about even touching the front bezel at first for fear of screwing it up. Had a bit of an issue lining up the screw holes to attach the fan grill, but I solved that by enlarging one of the screw holes a bit. Came out looking pretty good.

Water cool it! Those cases scream water cooling just because there's so much room for rads and reservoirs.

Holy hell dude...did your landlord boot you out of your house? Are you planning on living in it? Sub-letting perhaps?

Jokes aside, it looks pretty interesting. Would you like to write it up for our front-page?
