Stock GT cooler is not bad a tall. My GT results.

Idle: 48C
Load: 65C

Rivatuner setup:
50% duty cycle when below 60C
80% duty cycle when above 60C
100% duty cycle when above 65C

My clocks are 711/1750/975
13,000 3dmark06

Crysis benchmark ,
Around 20FPS average increase from my 320mb GTS
1440x900, with some stuff at medium.

Another temp screenshot(this was at stock to test temps)

Awesome, blows away my GTS. The cooler is not bad at all, you just need to configure the fan cycle. My CM 690 may have helped a bit Have a 120mm yate loon pointed directly at the card.

I kind of feel that people who got aftermarket coolers wasted their money, except maybe in terms of noise reduction and unless you're planning to voltmod. Temps are lower than my 320mb GTS actually, a bit noisier but still. I got artifacts in AtiTool at 720/1780/975 so this is perfectly fine for me

That fan at 100% is terribly loud. Thus the Aftermarket coolers.

it does the job for me at 50% where it is silent and cools great(brings off 11c compared to the 29% setting)

It is really worth getting an aftermarket HSF...I'm currently on 774/1836/950 and have rthdribl running with the ATITool open scanning for artifacts... stable for 59 minutes and temps registered by RivaTuner at 45 C

Yep, I can e-mail you a screenhot if you don't believe it ...you should also see such low temps..the stock cooler on this GT is absolutely crap, any aftermarket cooler is better, there is just now airflow around the stock cooler, where us the heat suppose to go
