I was discussing RAID a few days ago in another thread. I have two 250gig drives (for some reason i thought one was 200). One is regular old ATA and another is SATA.

Could i set these up in raid? My motherboard has onboard raid, i also have a jmicron raid controller via PCI

Depends what ports are on the RAID controller. I know we had an older server that ran an PATA & SATA mixed raid. This was possible b/c the controller ran both SATA & PATA and RAID was provided on the controller chip. That JMicron may. Take a look in your controller settings in BIOS.
