As the thread asks, what is your Rated FSB as shown in CPU-Z, or whatever program you prefer.

I'm asking as I'm currently trying to run my memory at 1:1, 800Mhz, so my system is at 8*400, giving me a Rated FSB of 1600Mhz. I have heard that because the processor is quad pumped that we aren't able to hit such a high Rated FSB or Bus Speed, as core2duo users do for example. I'll admit I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to this though.

I'm certainly having trouble going past 420Mhz, 1:1, 840Mhz DDR2, and I've taken my memory on it's own using 4:5/2:3 to over 1000Mhz so it isn't the memory.

So I'm wondering what everyone elses method of overclocking their Q6600 is, what their Rated FSB is, and why I'm not getting past 420 Bus Speed.

Eh, hope this thread is worthwhile. I'm certainly interested.
