wireless mouse/keyboard and kvm switch

I have one of those... they're a bit finicky.

I haven't tried a wireless keyboard, but my wireless mouse didn't work very well with it. Not so much because it was wireless, but because of the USB->PS/2 converter... that switch just doesn't really like those things, regardless of the type of mouse you use. I assume that's what you're planning, as I've never seen a wireless PS/2 setup? If that's the case, you'd be better off upgrading to an actual USB KVM, methinks.
 
I have a cheap airlink PS2 kvm with a USB keyboard and mouse and the charactoristics of how the mouse moves is slightly different than plugging it in via usb. Since the price difference is only like $5-$6 I would get the USB for simplicity and keeping the mouse the same.
