Gigabyte P965P-DS3 PCI-e Version

I have Gigabyte P965P-DS3 rev.1 motherboard. I'm planning to purchase ATI HD 3870 video card which support PCI-e version 2.0. Is this videor card compatible with Gigabyte P965P-DS3? What version of PCI-e does P965-DS3 have? I've already have ATI HD 3870 video card running with Abit P35 Pro motherboard whis has P35 chipset.

pci-express 2.0 is backwards compatible with pci-express 1.whatever it is. (1.1?) anyways no loss in quality as far as im aware
