Firefox loads links in new tab if a page is still loading?

If I'm looking at a page that hasn't finished loading and I click a link inside of it, firefox will sometimes load it in a new tab instead of the current one. Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

You mean stop opening new tabs for loading links you click?
I guess you have to go to the Tools menu and click "Options". Then go to the "Tabs" preferences, it should solve your problem.

I tried that. I'll have to wait and see if it works.
