Tracking device on notebook

I would like to put one in my notebook just in case, does anyone know of one? If there isn't does anyone think I can put those tracking devices they use for pets in a notebook instead?

I believe the best you could do is Lowjack if you very concerned.

lowjack is the only way you will be able to find it easily, else wise you will have to be connected to the internet IIRC i know macs have a asset recovery thing, but well, as you can see the only thing ive seen out of it was a thief on the crapper surfing the internet
