new to oc what do i need to do

new to oc what do i need to do


hi i have just built a new pc hear are the spek
amd 6400+ black edition
aser crosshair
xfx 8800gts xxx 640mb
2x 1gb sticks of ocz sli ram pc2-6400 Dual Channel ram (i have another 2gb of ram on its way 2x 1gb ram stick)
ASUS Silent Knight II Quiet CPU Cooler

in the bios is has a simple auto over clock whitch gets it go 3.36ghz no problem (5%) the next leval is 8% whitch become unstable is i do it manual what do i need to do to get it to a a high oc?

oh and look at this i thought the HT was ment to be 1000mhz it the same at stock

It appears your HT multiplier has been adjusted to 1x for some reason that why your bus speed is so low.
