Right, just ignore me, should have Googled it. Found this (easily)

http://www.abit.com.tw/cpu-support-list/mb/intel_p35_ip35.htm

Seems it is compatiable, if anyone knows it would be nice to know if the Ram and GFX card will be ok?

Hey,

I am just in the process on building a new system :), I have bought the following so far

Abit IP35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit
Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS II Aluminium Midi-Tower Case – Black
Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)
Seagate ST3250410AS 250GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache – OEM
Arctic Cooling AC-FRZ-7P Freezer 7 Pro Socket 775 Processor Cooler
Sony 3.5" Floppy Drive Black – OEM
Pioneer DVR 212BK 18X SATA DVD±RW DL Int Black OEM

I am getting a 8800GT shortly and want to wait for the new processors to come out, but want to use what I can now (so impatient). My old system has a Intel Pentium 4 630 with HT (3.0GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, FSB800), LGA775, so can I just nick that and wack it into the new system until the 45nm chips rear their heads?

Answers on a post card.

Cheers

Rob
