I got quite a few questions and am hoping somebody here can help me. The cpu I'm using is a q6600 and the board is the DFI LP LT P35 - When I do Prime testing, the PWM temp goes to 58C and the chipset temp goes to 54C, what is the suggested safe operating temperature for these two areas? I know people have said up to 100C but I think that is a little crazy, the entire system would be cooking. Also where exactly is the PWM in case I want to put a fan on it to cool it down? - I set the value to 1.2875v in BIOS, but CPU-Z reads it as 1.311v at idle and 1.280 during Prime testing (due to vdroop). How can I get CPU-Z to read it as 1.2875v? - Some people have Thermal Management Control and Vdroop Control enabled while others have it disabled when overclocking. Why would you want to turn off those options? I thought TMC gives more accurate temp readings and vdroop prevents loss of voltage when the cpu is under load. Thanks for the help! |
