My Abit IC7 is not booting with my IDE hard drive. The drive works in the other computer I tested it in. I was able to boot from an IDE DVD drive. During boot I keep getting stuck at "Verifying DMI Pool Data......." I get passed with when I boot from the DVD drive but it stays there with the hard drive. What is happening and how do I fix it?

Reset the CMOS and put everything at stock volts and frequencies. I got that sometimes when I was overclocked, but it would start up at default speeds.

+1 - i've been getting this problem from time to time too. you can set your overclock again after it loads into windows for the first time.

Resetting the CMOS did not work either. I'll check the HDD jumper settings next time I am around the computer.
