Brisbane is newer. Windsors I have heard (couple months ago) are better due to the Brisbanes flawed design.. it might be corrected by now though.

Thank you! Now what kind of mobo would it take to hit 3ghz on the cheaper cpu?

u want SLI?
or do u want to be able to run the later and better quad cores? if u want the later and better quad cores then ur going to spend more money but even at that u should get better ocs from the newer spider mobos and u could run X-fire.

good MSI mobo for the price and u can have SLI and oc pretty good. I have this mobo and the only thing that sucks is u cant adj the voltage on the NB and i think that holds me back from running my hyper transport high.

GIGABYTE is a fav mobo among a lot of people. they seems to make a GREAT mobo for the price. i dont know what one i would go with.

one is SLI and the other is not. Very cheap and know to OC very very well. I have played with the first one and a 550SE. you can get lost in the BIOS for days.

I like my Nvidia 590 based board, but they seem to still be about $150 on newegg. But worth it. I'm not sure how some of the newer cheaper chipsets perform.
