I have a K8N Neo4 Platinum mobo, AMD Athlon64 3700+, and have been having an odd problem lately. Whenever I turn on the computer, the BIOS settings have reset to default. I go into the CMOS set-up and change the settings back to where I had them, save and reboot, and all is well.

One thing that I have noticed when this happens, is that the battery voltage is 1.44v. I recently installed a new battery, and the highest the voltage went was 1.98v.

What might this be an indication of, and is there some way to fix it? The mobo is out of warranty, and I don't have the means to buy a replacement at this time.

Thanks in advance for your help.
