uh they dont actually want you to go out shopping with it, though they would like you to do that.

If it happens Ill just add it into my 2 immediate pay off debts, CC and the loan to clear my due status with the state of Va.

Actually the whole point of it is for you to spend it.
The best way to fight off any form of a recession is to put the money back into the system, and what better way to reinvest the money than to give it to people so they can spend it which of course puts it back into the system

But the purpose is defeated if people just store it away..........which many will do. Not all of us need a new plasma TV every 6 months.

Hehe...I didn't say the logic didn't include faults.
Every 6 months? Jeez, I still have yet to get one for the first time

Money goes back into the system in two ways.

1) Savings - You save $x in yoiur bank, your bank "borrows" the $x and uses it to invest.
2) Spending - You buy a 32" HDTV built by Sharp. The retail store you bought it from makes a little bit of cash, then most of it gets sent back to Sharp, distributed to it's employees out of the united states.

They want to revitalize the economy? Allow American businesses to be competitive with foreign ones, let *ALL* tax payers keep more of their money, reduce government subsidies which force raised taxes, and decrease national debt.

Borrowing to spend results in more debt, which results in less ability to consistently spend, which results in a weaker economy.
