First off I'll make it clear that I haven't built a computer in 5 years. Things have changed a TON since back in the day. Used to even have an account here but I forgot the password
Anyways... Intel E6750 on a IP35 Pro /w Tuniq 120
8x376 = 3.0Ghz @ 1.33V
I loaded up Vista, installed a bunch of stuff, updated, then I installed Abit Guru.
According to Guru, I was running at 26 degrees. I then cranked the fan to high, and ran prime95. It held at 26 degrees...
My case temp rose slightly, but it struck me as odd that the temp didn't increase even slightly.
Either these processors are that good, that heatsink is that good, or both....
or I have a faulty temp sensor....
Does this seem normal?
I killed Prime95, and the temp is still at 26..... kinda creeping me out...
EDIT:: nm... totally off base... Abit Guru was wrong...
I downloaded CoreTemp and it's giving me better numbers. ~28 idle / 48 load
