Steam question

So, I need to free up a little hdd space for a while, and wanted to uninstall Steam and the couple games but maintain the save files, achievements, etc.

I noticed that by right-clicking each individual game you get an option to backup local content [or however its worded], but I haven't seen an uninstall option anywhere. I know I'm just overlooking it somewhere, where's it at?

Right-click on the game you want to remove and select 'Delete Local Content'. That'll uninstall it.

Be aware that 'backing up local content' does not save your config files, your achievements or any game saves you may have. You have to go into the individual folders for those and back up anything you think you'll need later.
