How Do I Flash New Bios?

I've never done this before.

I have a gigabyte P35-DS3L, that i bought quite a while ago now. I've heard that bios updates sometimes 'fix' v-droop and allow a higher fsb overclock? (if this is not true, please let me know)

If that is the case, i think i would like to give it a shot. I also heard gigabyte has some sort of 'easy' way of doing this. If someone could explain how to do this, that would be great.

i've read that you need to format the usb stick and put the update on it. Then, you need to set the boot priority and use F8? to access the menu for it.
