as above
from 8800 GTS 320 MB to 8800 GT 512MB
i think below 22" not worth upgrade that 88GTS

but my bro using 22" so he is considering that GT

any one upgrade from 88GTS 320MB to 88GT 512MB?

the core i really don't think become the problem since the 88GTS 320MB can reach 660-680 mhz @ core

but the 320MB memory will hinder the performance @ 22" res?

thx in advance

Wrong forum. ;)

Just so you know, the 8800GT smacks around the 320MB GTS. The GTS begins to run out of puff with the latest games, such as UT3 and Crysis, the GT handily beats it at any resolution.

pm a mod.

As for the question at hand for 1680x1050 I would go for the 8800gt it would cost about 100 bucks or so after selling off the old card.

i 'upgraded' from a 8800gts 640 to a gtx 768mb to a gts 512mb.... my new GTS is a beast, and i havent even begun to clock 'er yet.

i do NOT want to go back to that gtx....blech...it clocked like piddle and took up too much juice

Screen size isn't what matters. Resolution is. A 19" monitor will play the same as a 60" bigscreen at 1360x768. Just bigger pixels.
