I think you should be more specific with your posts.

If you're looking into buying one, the 8800gt is faster than the 9600, but it's also more expensive. The preliminary tests put the 9600 on par with the ATi 3850.

It seems like the 8800gt is still better than the 9600GT, but the prices for 9600gt are a little unknown... they're predicted to be 169 to 189, and since 8800gt are about 200 now, I think a 8800gt is a better buy.

Need definate prices to analyze it more in depth.

If it's below 150$US it will be sick.

9600GT will be cheaper but slightly worse in performance versus the 8800GT. However, some predictions are that the 9600GT will be priced ~150. Whether this holds true or not, we'll need more time to confirm that.

Well it all depends on supply, doesn't it? If the supply is good, expect it to go cheap. If only a few merchants can get it, then expect them to do some profit taking on it. I just bought that MSI 8800GT (see cyber deals section) and I don't regret it. That thing is fast, overclocked, quiet, and a good deal. Plus it's a G92.
