8800GT + thermal paste


I just bought an HR-03 GT in hope's of pushing my 8800GT a bit further with a hard volt mod, 1.1v mod just not doing it anymore.

Anyhow, now that I got the stock sink off and attached the ram-sinks (btw the tape thats on the HR-03 sinks sucks pretty hard, glad I had some Arctic Adhesive around). Now before I slap the big sucker on....

....how do you guys apply AS5 to the core? One drop in the middle... or spread it in a thin coat over the whole core?

PS, Just curious, what fans you guys use for this baby? Picked up a 56 cmf one, hope its enough.
