Ordered the g.skill 2x2 1000mhz

I started ordering my new setup components. So any opinions about those sticks would be welcome. Also anyone experimented with their clocks?

I've been able to achieve 1066MHz at the default 2.0v. They are rated up to 2.1v, but I've not found the extra voltage to help, and DO NOT exceed 2.1v as they will become very unstable.

i got the same stuff, figured it was worth it regardless if i couldnt get higher clocks. havnt played with ocing it yet. i was lookin around and looks like u may stuck with cl5 even if ure runnin a bit slower, but somone did mention 1t is doable.

you can run them at cas4 timings at ddr2-800....

My MA790FX gigabyte choked on them but my GA/P35-DSP loves em. What board are you depositing them in? I spoke with Gigabytes techs and they recommend Corsair, Micron or Kingston for the AMD side. I run mostly G-Skill and love them.

I'm sure it will, the P35 CS seems to work tight with GSkills. So far only my Gigabyte board is choking and none of the other boards are.
