A friend of my boss just brought me his laptop to see if I can fix it for him.
The issue is: Every time you boot into windows the screen flickers red and the colors get a little mixed up. So I boot into windows with the 'last known good configuration' and it worked again.
I asked him what he did and he said he got this Vodafone 3G connection card and when he put it into his laptop he started getting this red flashing. I inserted the card and it started happening again. As far as he knows it has never happened before he put this thing in.
I have reinstalled Windows XP and I still get the issue, so this has to be hardware related.
Do any of you know a way I can fix this? The laptop is 2 months past it warranty.
