Definitely!

Cooling the ram and components on the vid card is very important... otherwise you will fry your card. Basically you want to cool everything that the stock heatsink was cooling (look at the underside of the heatsink and match up the elevated metal pieces (those that were touching the ram, chipsets, etc) and cool those with after market heatsinks.

Those HS's are a bit expensive, but they will serve you well.

Make sure to use some goo gone followed by 90+% Isopropyl on the various components to get all the residue off. They may appear clean if you just use isopropyl, but when you hear those 'clinks' in your case from the HS's falling off you won't be happy.

Should work fine it has the same mounting holes as the 7800' and 7900's and i have had my mase4 on both

step 6 in TRs instructions. If using the TR you must use low profile HSs on these 2 mem chips, not cuz the mem is diff, but cuz the heatpipes pass right over that and would interfere.

Also also in my link to my other post #11 that I gave above here theres another link to a pic about putting a HS on the bottom of the card.

Just be sure not to interfere, not to miss, but also not to electrically conduct soemthing you shouldn't either.
