program to measure p4 temp?

what is the best program to measure the temp of my p4 3ghz?

also cpuz says my ram is in single channel, but im pretty sure its not2x512mb ddr2 pc3200.

I would recommend Speedfan.

As to why it is running in single channel, it is because it is ;)

What slots do you have it in the motherboard, and what motherboard do you have? Check to see if there is specific slots that they have to go in to be in dual channel.
 
ecs 848pa, it only has 2 slots for ram and thats where both of my sticks are

My guess would be temp2...might be able to find more info if you told us what hardware you are using ;)
 
Both those CPU-Z ss show 'slot#1'. What's in slot#2?

Also, I like to use MBM5 to monitor temps on my P4 rig, but I've never used speedfan, so it might be better.
