I would say, it is fine. With those timings, it'll also probably run 1000 or 1066 with relaxed timings. Also that motherboard allows great flexibility with memory speed.

Ok guys thanks for the great info.

I got my PC to run at 3.2 stable yesterday and now i want to adjust the ram.

Can you guys give me some info on what would be a good start?

Within the bios there will be an option to link or unlink your memory. The link options ties it to the FSB. The unlink option is what you want to select and that should open up the RAM for either overclocking or underclock plus timing options.
