dedicated box?

Hey, I purchased a dedicated box box from http://www.colocrossing.com and its been 3 days now and they still haven't put up my box yet. I was wondering how long does it take a company to set up a dedicated server. i was expecting same day set up, but they said that is not true. they stated i will be charged as soon as the box is operational. but i cant wait because my current host is total crap. so usually how long does it take for a company to hook up a computer??
