andLinux to the rescue. Now I can just use Windows for most stuff.

It's straight up Windows with andLinux running synaptic and Konqueror.

andLinux adds the ability to run every linux application on Windows side by side Windows applications. I like it a lot. Now I can run amarok and k3b with Windows.

that is interesting, tho I think the reverse idea is more beneficial...running windows apps within Linux without an emulator/virtual machine, as with WINE.

VirtualBox does a good job of that actually.
