Little confused here. I have a Duron 700mhz that I'm only able to get up to 880mhz (mult=8 and FSB=10) and be stable. Once I get it past that computer freezes. Before this cpu I had a Duron 750mhz overclocked to 1ghz with no problem. Not sure where to go from here. I've bumped the vcore to 1.75v. Am I missing something? Appreciate any help.

How hot is it running at 880? My experience with overclocking Durons has always been limited by the cheapo HSF I was running. So I would bump up the FSB, and the voltage until it was getting too hot. So I never really found it's "natural" limit.

You're in a safe temps! What are you using to cool it? Bump up to 1.85Vcore

What is the Durons stepping?
mine is AKCA "Z" ("Z" first char of third line, the serial num)

BTW: WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!

Had a 750 Duron that would not go over 960. Added water cooling and a vmod and at 2.2v she ran all day at 1120. Temps and voltage.:)
