Z-5500 near XBOX and COMP

I got the Z-5500 sub near the xbox and comp (about a feet away from each). The manual says that the SUB has a huge magnet and should be kept away at least 2 feet away from components and I think according to some people...it has no EMI shielding.

So, is it safe to keep it 1 feet away from the xbox and comp? Unfortunetly, the only place I can put the SUB is 1 feet away.

In all reality, unless you are seeing discoloration on the TV/Monitor or you notice weird errors that werent occuring before, you have nothing to worry about.
