Greeting to all. I recently upgraded/downgraded my system from 4x1gig Corsair XMS2 PC6400 to Ballistix Tracer PC8500, running the stock 1066 @ 2.2v on these sticks cause them to heat up quite a bit, so I tried running them at 1066 @ 2v and was able to do 17 passes on memtest without errors and seems to be running cooler.

My question is, Is it safe to undervolt my rams? Or will this cause failure down the road? Thanks. :)

It is safe to undervolt them. Though run memtest for few house to make sure they are error free.
