Need some audio advice

I currently use onboard sound from the Abit IP35-E board. My dilemma is that besides using my current LCD monitor + Logitech Z-680 speakers using the 3 analog wires, I want to be able to connect my computer up to my Onkyo 605 receiver and be able to play games off my TV and still have 5.1 audio. So the advice I'm needing is for a good sound card that will encode to digital for the receiver and still send analog to the computer speakers. I've been looking at the AuzenTech XPlosion 7.1, but am up for anything else comparable or better. I'm in no rush to get the card, so if something better is coming in a couples months, toss that out here. Max spending is ~$150, since this computer just killed my bank account.

Turtle Beach and Club3D are building cards based off the same chip as Auzentech's series of cards. It'd be worth looking into as I believe some of the comparable cards are slightly cheaper in price.

I know that Turtle Beach cards have more digital connections than the Auzentech cards do. I believe they remove the digital coax out and added the digital optical in.
