No Internet connection on start-up

hey guys, i have an IP35 PRO Motherboard, and occasionally (not all the time) my computer will start up with no internet connection available. I'll sit there for about 2 minutes to see if it ever connects but it doesn't, and i'm guessing its the motherboard's issue. I'm not for sure if it is, but its just a speculation. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the motherboard under vista x32 bit which is what i have. Anyone ever run into this issue? And no, it's not the internet for the whole house as i can connect on my alternate desktop even when this one can not.

try booting up your pc in safe mode with networking enabled .. do that a few times and see if you notice a difference
