Jack Thompson Punished By Florida Supremes

First, I cant believe this hasnt been posted already.
Second, this is awesome!

The Florida Supreme Court ruled this morning that if controversial Miami attorney and anti-gaming violence activist Jack Thompson would like to file anything with the Court in the future, he has to hire a lawyer to do so for him, reports GamePolitics.

This ruling follows the Court's decision last month to issue Thompson a show cause order (.pdf) as a result of Mr. Thompson "submitting inappropriate and pornographic materials to [the] Court."

Additionally, the order cites 46 prior filings by Thompson which the Court says are "repetitive, frivolous, and insult the integrity of the Court."

Yeah, I've been following this quite religiously. It's like watching a slow-motion trainwreck. Every word that has come out of his mouth is potentially damaging.

Y'know what they say? The lawyer who represents himself in court has a fool for a client.

That is all well and good, but the fun part has not happened yet

The florida bar association hearing is still yet to come and he may very well lose his license to practice

Yeah, I read Game Politics quite often. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for Jack Thompson.
