Guitar Hero 3 (PS3 or 360)

I have found a niche that has me enjoying this game, right now Gamestop has both for $89.99 and I was curious which one is the best choice.

What I would like to know is which one is best, and why its reccomended.

I prefer the ps2 version, but if I had a choice between those 2 i would go with the xbox 360

I find that the 360 version has much better hardware. The guitar for the 360 is built much better. Plain and simple.

@ Nasvemos.........???? You prefer something you'd stray from if given the opportunity? My head hurts.

I'd say the 360 version because the PS3 version uses blutooth and I don't think you can use the GHIII controller with Rockband because Activision won't share the blutooth driver. The Guitar Hero III controller works just fine on Rockband for the 360 however. (Though I suppose you could always use the PS2 controller for rockband and ghIII if you have a PS2 adapter.)

As for the "quality" of the controller... I don't actually believe there's a difference. I've tooled around with quite a few of them at best buy and gamestop... if there's a difference (other than what I've named) I haven't seen it.

Um, yeah, the hardware of the two controllers is the same. No difference in quality.

I think he's saying he prefers PS2, but if he had to choose between the two, he'd go with 360.

I have tried GH3 on both platforms and have no real favorite.

You can pick up the 360 version cheap right now as tons of people are dumping the 360 hardware and games on places like Craigslist so you can probably save a few bucks.
