uninstalling GRUB loader

right now i cant uninstall GRUB, for some reason this comp wont recognize that i even have a bootable cd in my drive, which i do.
i DID put the cdrom drive as the first to be loaded so that i can effortlessly do the fixmbr stuff, but it just boots straight to grub loader. NEED HELP PLS

Boot to a Win98/Me bootdisk, one that contains the FDISK tool, and at the A:> prompt type...

fdisk /mbr
