Question

Does anyone here know the height of the stock/retail heatsink that comes with the Celeron E1200 ?

I am getting one for my mom and a new case too, not sure if it will fit in the low profile case.

If it looks like most of the other Intel HS's, it's probably 2-1/2" - 2 3/4" tall.
I haven't seen a "new one" for Cellys though.

the hs is the same as a E2x/E6x cpu, intel lists it as a 65watt tdp. the smaller hs's come with the celeron-l line as they are specced for 35watts TDP. comparing the two the celeron-l is about half the height of other.

if space is that tight think of getting the zalman LP hs or the TR LP one.
